Updated 27 April 2010 - BA crew to vote on holding more strikes this week
Unite will be continuing with it's second stage of strikes this weekend. British Airway is now reviewing it's scheduled services for the planned dates.
On 12th March, Unite, the union that represents British Airways (BA) cabin crew, announced strike dates of 20th, 21st, 22nd and 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th March 2010.
British Airways contingency plans have worked well over the first period of strike dates and have operated a planned schedule of services at Heathrow and Gatwick, as well as adding flights into their schedule at both airports. British Airways have now confirmed their flying schedule for 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th March 2010.
The airline is currently reviewing their flying schedule for the second strike period of 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th March. They have also reinstated a number of flights up to Friday 26th March due to the number of crew who are reporting to work.
The following flights will operate normally and changes to bookings on these flights are subject to the original fare rules:
• All flights to and from London City
• All long haul flights to and from London Gatwick
• All flights operated by BA’s subsidiary, franchise, alliance and code-share partners
