Qatar Embassy
The Qatar Embassy has confirmed that visas will no longer be issued upon arrival from 1st May 2010; all applicants must either obtain a No Objection Certificate or Tourist visa before travelling. Those travelling on tourism will need to obtain their visa prior to arrival through the Embassy of Qatar in London. Please note that foreign nationals must be a resident for one year or more to get a visa in the United Kingdom.
Those travelling on business will need their sponsor (or company they are visiting) to organise a No Objection Certificate approval to travel via the Immigration department in Qatar. Passengers must not travel until approval has been confirmed.
